Christian Johnston is based in Brooklyn NYC. Born in Manhattan and raised in Virginia. Returning to his birth place in 1989.
He has worked in various capacities in television and film production as well as animation before turning his sights on photography.
He started his career in photography in 2003 where he has worked predominately as a contributing photographer for the New York Post where he shoots feature stories. His work is syndicated through Splash and Polaris agencies. He has had many clients outside of the New York Post from magazines to private clients.He received a grant from the BAC (Brooklyn Arts Council) and sponsorship from NYFA (New York Foundation for the Arts) He has exhibited his personal work in galleries in NYC and Virginia.
In his spare time you'll find him with his best buddy and roommate "MacCrash" the dog.
